can anybody tell me where to find kitten heel wedding shoes?

Help!!!! All the 'wedding' shoes i have seen are beautiful but have 3 inch heels. As i don't want to be taller than my groom on the day, i am looking for shoes with around an inch/inch and a half kitten heel in white satin. Can anybody help?

    Hi, check out these websites, there are lots of high shoes but also quite a good collection of smaller heels;

    http://www.rainbowclub.co.uk

    http://www.paradoxlondon.com

    http://www.paradoxlondon.com/BenjaminAdams.

    These are available to try and buy in most bridal shops but you can also order online from other websites - just google the designer you like - plenty come up.

    I found that the bridal shops tend to stock the higher heels even though the ranges they offer do have smaller ones available - I suppose the higher ones sell more. If you do want to try ones that aren't in the shop you could find a stockist and ask if they'll get them in for you.

    I have 2 bmaids - one needs low heels and one likes high so I know how difficult it can be to get smaller ones.

    Hope this helps

    Have you had a look in Next? They have them on their website - http://order.next.co.uk/page.asp?b=X37&p=50&o=1. The great thing is they're only £24.99 - bargain!

  • I had the exact same problem needed small heels, brilliant white, plus wanted closed toe and not slingbacks. I ended up with a pair by Diane Hassall, called Casper (I think), but treked to York to the Bridal Rogue Gallery who have a large selection in store to view cause I couldn't decide on the internet. My shoes were the most difficult thing to buy.

    I found a really good internet site that had a nice selection and if you have plenty of time can arrange for styles of Benjamin Adams and Paradox shoes to be made in white satin as a one off if not available for about a charge of £35 on top of shoe cost, obviously you can not then return these if you don't like them and it takes at least six weeks - me who left it until 4 weeks before my first fitting couldn't use this option as much as I wanted to. The website is www.accessoryboutique.com and if you email them with questions they tend to reply within 24 hours and are really helpful. They also have a spring sale on some shoes at the moment.

    Also Filippa Scott has some lovely shoes and her Fifi collection have a very nice range of shoes and most are available in white. You can view her collections at www.filippascott.com and these are available to buy on the site I mentioned before.

    Good luck!
  • I got mine in Ivory's - check out their website. They have a huge range and loads of kitten heels
