Venue in Beds or Bucks

Hey Ladies I'm looking for an elegant venue in Bucks or Beds, Nice Gardens are a must and must be amazing rain or shine. I want the wow factor. We would like to find somewhere where we can get married, have the reception and stay over night. Has anyone any suggestions?

I could go on!
We didn't wan this kind of venue and aren't having ours locally but I live in Beds and Hubby is from Bucks! xx
Offley Place is very nice, though was speaking to someone today who said they'd had trouble contacting them.
Luton Hoo would be amazing, and very expensive!
We also looked at Harpenden House but we weren't happy with some aspects.
There's Flitwick Manor, haven't been to look at it but website looks good.

The Bedford Swan hotel has everything except the gardens, but is on the embankment by the river with stunning views and photo ops there.
Wymondham Barn (although that might be Herts).
Wouldn't bother with Swiss Gardens - it's stunning but it'll be waaaay too tiny for you. H2B's cousin married there in the summer and we struggled to fit 20 people into the ceremony room, plus there's no accommodation.
We're actually not that spoilt around here, there's not a huge amount of choice at a decent price!
I live in Bedford, I wouldn't dream of getting married in town
Amy, there's constructive feedback and opinions, and then there's plain rude - please don't forget this is a site with lots of different brides, budgets and requirements.

theres also offley place, near hitchin
theres shuttleworth park, near old warden,
the bell hotel in winslow
Kingfisher country club
whittlebury hall
Shelswell Park
just a couple i found for you, hope it helps, xxx
or Notley Abbey http://www.notleyabbey.co.uk/ which does have some accommodation but probably not enough for all the guests.
A bit of venue candy if nothing else!
Luton isn't even that bad a place, have been living here for nearly 3 years, not out of choice admittedly!! Moved here for work. Though embarrassed to live here today with the EDL march, absolutely disgusting.
However Luton Hoo is as close to Harpenden as Luton. It's about a minute away from the M1 J10 so easy road access, 5 minutes from either Harpenden or Luton parkway (the one for the airport) train station, and 5 minutes from the airport.
Definitely agree that Amyyearley is out of order whatever your thoughts remember that you are being nasty about other peoples choices, there is a more tactful way of saying what you are without upsetting other people.
Good luck with your search if you do need anymore info or pics at Luton Hoo then please PM me would be happy to share.

If you want to post a review feel free once you have looked around a venue. It will help others in the future.
Happy hunting
