Fairmont Hotel, St Andrews

We're getting married in October 2020 and are currently venue hunting. We visited the Fairmont Hotel in St Andrews over the weekend and fell in love with this venue. Just wondered if anyone on here has held their wedding at this venue and if so what their thoughts were.

Also looking for other alternative venues within St Andrews or even Loch Lomond if anyone has any?

Thanks in advance!

  • Saint Andrews is a coastal city northeast of Edinburgh, on the east coast of Scotland. It is known for its many golf courses, such as the Old Course, with the iconic Swilcan Bridge at the 18th hole. The British Golf Museum gathers the history of British golf. On a nearby promontory are the ruins of the castle of Saint Andrews, with a medieval dungeon. The University of Saint Andrew is located near the castle. It is a beautiful place to get married. Two years ago I got married there.
We did the honeymoon in Munich and left the airport in a chauffeur service munich with a company I don't remember well and then we went to enjoy our honeymoon
