Anyone going to/considering the Galapagos Islands?

We are looking at honeymoons for June 2008 and thinking of maybe a Peru/Galapagos Isalands combo. Sounds like a real once in a life time trip.

    Hi Flounder,

I could be wrong but I don't think so (I hope not!). I know they have sea lions, penguins, white tip sharks and hammer head sharks, pilot wales and penguins - but I don't think they have great whites. Apparently, South Africa is good for this...

We're looking into the Galapagos Islands for an anniversary trip in a few years time (just got married last month and went to Florida for honeymoon).

I found this as a possibility:-

    It looks absolutely fantastic!

I called the company just so we could get a rough idea as to price so we can start saving and was told that it would be in the region of £3000 to £3500 per person for 2008.

Hope this helps, have a wonderful honeymoon!
