Tour operators and honeymoons

Hello, Me and my fiance are looking at going away on our honeymoon in June. I was thinking about using a Tour Operator, as I would like all inclusive or half board and for some specialist help and advice on where to go.

Has anyone heard The Turquoise Holidays Company or have any got any good recommendations? I have heard some really good things about them

Let me know :)

  • We went to Kuoni and Trailfinders and honestly found both so underwhelming. For a week away on Italy neither of them could find us anything much under £3,000 and that wasn't even half board, and they were 4* hotels with nothing special that made it a honeymoon over a normal holiday.

We managed to find much cheaper holidays ourselves using Jet2 and although we changed out mind on where to go, we got a 4* all inclusive adults only hotel with a jacuzzi, balcony with a sea view and the junior suite for less than they found anything for us.

It is effort but searching for something yourself will get you much more for your money.
  • Hi, my name is Colin, I'm an Independent Travel Agent and can help you with finding ideas.

We put alot of pressure on honeymoon's being exceptional and spend more money than usual on them.

If you had one holiday you could go on ignoring it being your honeymoon, what would it be?

Does a sightseeing group holiday or multi-centre holiday peak your interest.

Friends of mine spent 3/4 days on a sleeper train through the Rockies and then did Niagara and other places in Canada.

The world is literally in the palm of your hand, prices will be higher due to it being Summer, but some locations are less volatile just because it's Summer in Europe.

Good luck and if you need some ideas, just email me on [email protected] with your budget and travel dates

    Colin
