What to do with flowers

Hi all,

I’m not a sentimental person at all but my flowers were so beautiful that whilst I was on honeymoon I asked one of my bridesmaids to dry her flowers. I’ve since realised I made a mistake and what I actually meant was press, doh!  Any ideas for what I can do with them? I don’t just want a bunch of dried flowers and don’t really fancy a frame.... I’m intrigued by the paperweights that I’ve seen mentioned on here before but from a quick google it looks like you send fresh flowers and they then dry them using their techniques.

Thanks in advance!

Theres a lady on etsy who does jewellery similar to the paperweights. You dry the flowers first then send them so you could ask and see if she does paperweights or anything?

  • I've seen a few Etsy artisans and even local jewellers that can turn the old petals into beautiful pieces of jewellery (bracelets and such).  I've seen charms for charm bracelets, pendants, and even entire bracelets where each bead is partly composed of the bride's former wedding flowers.

I've also seen other ideas on Etsy for them, like lucite paperweights.
