  • can;t see piccy of you hun but loving the dresses! Good selection...tried many on 'in the flesh' yet?

    xx
  • Personally I prefer Francoise, I think the detail across the neckline is very elegant. But they are all very pretty dresses, I also like Cannes, the pink is really subtle. Sorry I cant see your picture.

I reckon you should go and try them all on plus more and have a fab time doing it!

Hello all!!! Thanks for the feedback. I am trying to arrange fittings for all these dresses..and more lol!

I fixed the photo problem now (I hope!)

I really like the second two dresses especially the lace one but Im still not completely sure.
  • Aaaah yes i see your picture now, I too would b a big poser if i had your figure (very jealous)

I'm sure you'll look lovely in any dress you choose!

I ended up travelling to a shop well out of my way because they stocked a dress i liked and ended up trying on half of the shop and falling in love with a completely different dress altogether! Loved every second though!
  • I've fallen in love with cannes...it's £1700 by the way...hmph :P xx
  • Way over my budget but to me my dress is the most beautiful in the world anyway! lol

Have you chosen your dress disney princess?

just to warn you... the Alan Hannah dresses are much bigger (i.e. bigger skirt) than they appear in the pics... I loved Dominique on the web but when I got to try it on it drowned me (I'm 5'3 and a size 8). Gorgeous dresses though if you want a big dress.

Basically I think you should try lots of stuff on, it's amazing how different they look when they are on!

  • I love dominique and I am so so jealous of your figure! lol

100% the cannes dress, then the dominique... i think the cannes will suit your frame best - although havent seen your pic... sorry..

goodness me though £1700!!!! that is no joke!
  • WOW congratulations on the exciting news!

Love dress number 4 for your figure and also number 2 is stunning. Buy them both (haha)

Link for number 3 wouldn't open so can't comment.

    Congratulations again!

Francoise & Cannes stand out for me in the Alan Hannah ranges. I will now peruse the MS dresses, which I'll probably love all of (me being a Sottero & Midgley bride myself!)

MS Belinda is gorgeous, and Nevaya is my next favourite.
  • congratulations on your news (it is that you're pregnant, isn't it.......or am i having one of my blonde moments??)

very jealous!!!!......been trying for my second for 3 years and still nothing!!

when are you getting married and when are you due. it will make a big impact on what dress you have?

if you will be showing by the wedding, it may be an idea to go for a dress in an empire line style.

it will show off your bump brilliantly and there are some really gorgeous styles around.

if you dont want an empire line, you would be safer going with a corset back because you can let it out in the places you need to. (just in case you have a sudden increase in your bump size. (noted from my personal experience). i went from not showing at all to people asking me when i was going to have it.....i went huge in a space of 2 weeks. (could have sworn i had just swallowed a baby) lol.

    hope this helps.

oh..by the way. i like the cannes one from benjamin roberts (bit pricey though)

also, like the maggie sottero - nevaya one.

i prefer the maggie sottero. (it is the style dress i wanted for my wedding but couldn't find "the" right one.)

good luck finding the one you want and wish you luck with the upcoming baby or babies??? never know!!! lol

P.S. sorry for going on a bit.

  • The second Maggie is gorgeous, but personally I think you'd look stunning in Cannes by Alan Hannah. Is is slightly shorter.... Any excuse to buy fab shoes! If ya can afford it, go for it!!

Congratulations, if you are pregnant?? Hxx

    Hi ladies!

Thanks for all your help and well wishes. Yes, H2B and I are expecting!!!

Kind of new a few weeks ago when we did a pregnancy test but decided to leave off getting doctors confirmation for a little while. The little bundle of joy should be here the first week of Marchimage

    We're both really excited!!!

Weddings not until the 4th August so it shouldn't hamper the wedding dress too much.

So theres the story up to now. Thought I'd give a little update! I'm heading now for the aforementioned appintments to fit on the alan hannah dresses so we'll see how that goes...

Lots of love, a very excited Annie xXx

This is probably the silliest thing I've ever said in my life: I'm in love- with a dress!!!

Tried on the Alan Hannah dresses yesterday afternoon:

'Martinique' and 'Francoise' swamped me. I could have had them altered but I just didn't feel it!

'Cannes' is absolutely gorgeous...but doesn't really go with my style of wedding. So that left me with 'Dominique'...OMG!!

I've never been so excited in my whole life. I only had it half on and I just knew it was the ONE!!image
  • yay! the dominique is beautiful image congrats in finding your dress image
