Matching flowers and general flower help!

Here is my dilemma.... our venue provides vases of white lilies for table centre pieces which is great. I really like cala lilies and wanted these for our bouquets and button holes but our colour scheme is red and purple and really struggling to find anywhere that can do these flowers in the shades that we are looking for! (I'm getting real touch ones).

So my question is would it matter if we have lily centrepieces but some other flowers (like roses) for bouquets and buttonholes? Am i just really over thinking this too much?! I know lilies and cala lilies are different but at least they are both lilies.

Or if anyone knows where I can get grape purple and postbox red cala lilies (artificial) from that would be even better!

If you struggling with these colour flowers why don't you go for white too for button holes etc, no-one will know venue is supplying them on the tables.

Have a look at this link, they have white ones then with coloured feather, or others with white lillies with another colour flower

  • Hi Dolly31.

I am having purple calla lilies for my bouquet and buttonholes and am pretty sure I've come across some real touch ones on the Internet, but I can't find them now!

I've found some red ones that might be suitable:

I'm having lillies and delphiniums as centre pieces, but am having roses for the garland, buttonholes, corsages and bouquet.

I don't think its necessary to have the same flowers everywhere. In fact, I prefer it when there are more than one type!
