how much ribbon for favour boxes?

I am planning to buy some personalised ribbon to wrap around my favour boxes, in this way:








Does anyone know how much per box you would need? I have approx 90 guests and dont have a clue who much ribbon to order. Obviously it is better to order the ribbon in one go, rather than ordering 2m here and 2m there...

    what size are your favour boxes? its easy when you know the size

    I thought all favour boxes were the same size!



    The box measures 50 x 50 x 50mm

    I had the same boxes ...see my wedding report in other topics. I found it took more ribbon than I thought. I think I used 2 x 50m rolls off ebay. I did a test drive with a piece of cheap ribbon and then multiplied by 100.

    im not buying favour boxes so i wouldnt know



    well each box needs 400mm just to go round each side, the extra for the bow so if a bow takes 200mm its 600mm per box. 90 guests based on that is 54m but id check about the length you need for a bow, allow yourself a little extra for some slack and off cuts and get at least 65m, obviously each extra box past 90 is the nest part of another meter



    hope that makes sense and my maths is ok, my brain doesnt seem to be working today
