Depending on your bridesmaids ages and style you may find a fab dress on the highstreet, I found a lovely dress in TKMaxx bargain at £20 annoyingly I couldn't find another for my other bridesmaid.
I thought I would find something on the highstreet but it proved tricky, but I was being very picky, my fall back option was going to be a wrap dress if we couldn't find anything suitable, which we did just happened to be made to measure at a local boutique.
I though have a size 4 and a size 14 bridesmaid finding something to flatter them both was tricky, I also made it hard work cause I wanted them to be happy in their dresses, as it is the first time they have both been bridesmaids.
I also made their dresses more bridesmaidy by having a bridal sash (ivory belt made out of a very wide piece of ribbon with some nice sparkly detailing) made that's not attached so can be worn with the dresses on the day then they can wear them without in future for posh nights out
