Take shoes or no?

heyyyy... 

im going dress shopping tomorrow, just wondering do I need to take heels or not?!

    The shop will probably have some for you to try on with dresses so I wouldn't worry at this stage. You would obviously need shoes for any fittings you had after purchasing.

    okay. I don't really want to take shoes as im thinking just bare feet x

    I went to a David's Bridal that had a strict policy of NOT allowing the brides to "borrow" shoes when trying on gowns. I would not assume that every/any shop will have shoes you can borrow. While you obviously won't have "the" shoes with you, I would take a pair or two of shoes with heel heights that you are contemplating wearing (i.e. ballet flats for dancing, 3" heels for the ceremony). Having a shoe on will also give you an idea of how you feel and how well you move in that shoe, in that particular design dress.
