Can I stretch my satin shoes?

I bought them on Ebay and they were an absolute bargain.  They fit really well apart from the front where they are slightly too tight over the outer edge of each foot.  I know I won't be able to wear them for a whole afternoon unless I do something about it.  Any suggestions?

Take them to the cobbler, they may be able to help.  I had satin peeptoes and was told they couldn't be stretched by them, but they showed me a way of doing it myself.  If you get them nice and warm (using a hairdryer) then get an object such as a rolling pin and push (stretch) from inside the shoe out (you might need to use a fair bit of force) then they do gradually stretch.  I did this a few times and on the day as well (they do shrink back a bit after they've cooled) and it worked a little bit x
