Las Vegas - After wedding meal

Hi all, We are getting married in Vegas later this year, and we are desperate to book a restaurant for the after wedding meal. Does anyone have any recommendations of where to eat, either on or off the strip, we don't mind paying that little bit more for the right location, somewhere we would not look out of sorts in wedding attire. I was considering Wolf Gang Puck's in the MGM but i've later learnt its smack bang in the middle of the casino floor and not too private. Any help is much appreciated ;\)

  • Hi, Wolf Gang Puck is right in the middle of the MGM and not particularly special.

I would think about going to one of the more up market hotels, eg The Wynn, Bellagio, The Hotel @ Mandalay etc as they have lovely restaurants and are more special. Or look for a restaurant on the top floor for fab views. The Voodoo Lounge at the top of the Rio is really cool not sure if they serve food though.

    Good luck, you'll love Vegas

  • Hi Rainy,

I agree with claireclaired. We're getting married in Las Vegas but not until 2010, already I have been looking into Olives at The Bellagio which has an outside area that overlooks their lake. Top of the World at the Stratosphere seems to be really popular and Mix at the THEhotel has been recommended for having fantastic views.

Have you been to Vegas before?

    Hi

Im getting married in Vegas in 15 days and have booked a restaurant called Cili at the Bali Hai Golf Course upon recomendations from someone i know in Vegas who got marired there. They do private room hire and decorate table for you they also do a special meal and drinks package and make you a cake(you send them apicture of what you and tell them what filling, flovour, icing etc) and the girls who i have been dealing with are excellent and really friendly. They will also recommend entertainment, limos, makeup etc if you want it. This golf course is next to mandalay bay so is on the strip but just out of the way and the pictures look like there will be some nice places for photos.

Ill let you know all about it when i get back if you want.

We have booked Mon Ami Gabi at Paris Hotel. We have a private room that seats up to 24 people. There was no cost for room have just a min spend of $2500.

We got engaged there on the terrace it is Beautiful and you can see the fountains at the Bellagio.

    hi guys

we are getting married at the MGM grand Forever grand chapel on 27th oct 2008.

Just looking for some where for the reception meal, i asked at wolfgang puck's for sample menus in the semi private dining area which looks really nice and quite private to be honest. but was a little stunned when the catering manager got back to be with a minimum food and beverage spend of $3500. which is quite doable if you have max people of 40 but there are only 29 of us and this includes 2 childeren under 2!

does anyone know of anywhere that doesn't do a min spend on food and drink?

was looking at Maggiano's ? anybody looked into this?

    thanks

    Hi Trouty

We are getting married at the MGM Forever Grand Chapel on 1 July 2009. I have also been having a nosey at Wolfgang Puck on the MGM Grand website and thought it looked nice. Can you please let me know how you got in touch with the catering manager as i would like to see a sample menu and get a rough quote. Do you know if they can arrange a wedding cake.

    Thanks
