Varenna Brides

Hi All

I'm getting married in Varenna, Italy in a few weeks time... the wedding vows don't seem to be very clear.. anyone been married there and able to tell me the standard process?? We are both from England.

I believe we dont exhange vows, we just listen to the mayor/translator and say I DO? I'm just not very sure and would like to know before i turn up on the day :)

Any advice is much appreciated :) Love Minnie xx

I didn't get married in Italy but I got married in Rhodes. And that's what they did said something in Greek then something in English we both said I do then again something in Greek then English but each other rings and then they said you are now man wife you can kiss the brides, we did get the option of adding our own vows and having people do readings but we wanted it quick and simple x

I am looking at Varenna for our wedding after getting engaged there. Can I ask where you chose for a venue and if you've any recommendations?

    Thanks in advance x
