No! Go for it! Enjoy the moment.

Not at all! Go for it. You only get to wear your wedding dress once, drag it out as long as you can!

Also, I'm sure of all the places nobody will bat an eyelid at something out of the ordinary, Vegas is top of the list!

Not at all, wear your dress! I'm sure people will make a big fuss of you. Love Ceasers Palace, we're getting married in Vegas next year at The Bellagio.

Absolutely wear it for dinner! When I was in Vegas I saw plenty of brides walking down the strip wearing their dresses, and posing for photos on a bridge crossing the road. Make the most of it x

I know a girl who got married there, she had a few guests but she went to a normal restaurant in her dress, cut her cake there surrounded by other diners, then went to the casinos in her dress.

In all the photos nobody in the background is even looking in her direction, I dont think its anything out of the ordinary there.

I also have a big dress, if you can't stand out on your wedding day then when will you! I plan on hitting the roulette tables in mine later in the evening

Not in Vegas haha! You might feel a little out of place to begin with but you'll fit right in!

  • Hope you are going to do a report, I am getting married at CP too so would love to hear how yours goes!

  • Hi.

Really new to all this, my friend gpt married abroad last year and told me she couldn't have done so without a forum! So here I am. I am getting married in Vegas in wjote chapel this November 13th and would love to hear your stories. My main questions are who did you book your weddings with before going and what do I do about getting my hair/make up done etc as I have NO idea. Thanks in advance and I look forward to hearing from you all x

  • HI, we saw a couple out for a meal in Vegas with their wedding stuff on - groom suit and women dress.

Her dress wasn't full length. And she also had her bouquet with her.

i think if u have a large wedding dress u may feel a bit standy out, if it's a simple dres 100% be fine. End of the day it's ur wedding do what u want!! I'd also book somewhere for ur Dinner. I would recommend the Eiffel Tower restaurant, also tell them before hand ita ur wedding day! They will give u the best seat in the house with the best view over the strip/bellagio fountains.

i would also recommend getting a limo and photographer to take photos of use at all the touristy spots!! Xx

My MIL got married in Vegas. Wore a full dress and no one batted an eyelid, a few said congrats :) we had a stunning meal in a private room in a steak restaurant in the Excalibur hotel.

We also went by limo which was great!

  • Hi Tara-5,

I'm currently in the process of planning my wedding in Vegas too. We haven't booked anything yet but we're struggling to decide on a few things. I'm definitely going to do this, but my wedding dress that I recently picked out is not a traditional wedding dress but more like an ivory lace maxi dress. I bet you could get some lovely pictures in your dress.
