Italian Legalities

Hi,

I'm getting married in Italy July 2019. Could anyone advise on how much it is costing you to obtain all documentation/solicitors/translators etc? Would it be cheaper to legalise the wedding at a registry office here in the UK?

Thanks

  • Hi Jo,

    I sent you a PM.

    Thanks!

  • I am getting married in Sicily we are having a registry office wedding in the UK a few weeks before and a humanist blessing in Sicily.  We never looked into the legalities of marrying in Italy.

We are getting married in Tuscany next year and doing everything out there with the help of our wedding planners. Our budget spreadsheet has 450 for the legal paperwork and 550 for the town hall / ceremony fee.
