Malta Info anyone??

Hi this is my first thread, im quite new to this!

im looking at getting married abroad, maybe next year, we have only just decided on abroad, and up to now malta is the favourite.

So im just wondering if anyone has any useful info that might help me to start planning? Like any wedding planners used? Or hotels/venues? We will be looking at having a civil ceremony probably about 20 people coming aswell.

Any info is greatly welcome!!

    Hello,

I am getting married this year in Malta in October, We have only got 25 guests attending.

I booked mine up last august through brides and beaches.com. They have given me a very good service so far. I have booked the ceremony, reception, photographer, car and hairdresser all through them.

Our wedding venue is the Palazzo Capua in Silema.

There are many venues to choose from for a civil service, you might want to look at Westin Dragonara hotel, Villa Arrigo, Selmun Palace, The Xara Palace Relais & Chateaux, Hilton Malta,

This venue might be a little to big but is lovely:

If you have any more questions please do ask I will be happy to help you if I can

    Hiya,

    Firstly congrats!!

Me and h2b are marrying in Malta at the Palazzo Capua, like Moonie.

We have used Sarah Young as our wedding planner; maybe not the cheapest but she has been great and a fountain of knowledge- http://www.weddingplannermalta.com/ .

    Would definitely recommend her!!

    Have fun looking.

  • Hi hun,

congratualitions!!! My lovely hubby 2 b and I are getting married in Malta on 5th August this year (eeek, not long to go!!!). We are marrying at the Westin Dragonara in a seasview ceremony on top of the Quadro, followed by a sit down meal on the restaurant terrace (also at the Quadro) for our 30 guests. We are having a DJ for entertainment who will play until 1am. We liked the fact that it was possible to quickly walk into town afterwards should us or our guests want to continue the party into the small hours!!

We have also used Sarah Young as our planner.

    Enjoy the planning!

  • Hi there

I too am getting married in Malta in November. We are doing most of it ourselves but are stuck on finding a DJ for the evening. Do you have any suggestions?

    Would love to hear back
