anyone a nurse in the NHS and knows about maternity rights

I'm currently applying for jobs as we want to move back to London. Does anyone know how long you have to work in a trust before you qualify for maternity pay? I think it's a year....Or is it calculated on how long you've worked in the NHS as a whole?

I was told you have to have been employed for 6 months, so thats about right. Im in a similar position to you - trying to work out when we can start trying for a baby as I am still job hunting myself (im a nurse too). Wont be able to afford it without the full maternity benefits though!!! All the best ;\)
