Travel Insurance When Pregnant

We have some holidays planned later on in my pregnancy. I will be flying when 28wks, then when i'm 31/32 weeks.

The airlines are happy for me to fly up to 36wks as long as i have a letter from my doctor/midwife. My concern is travel insurance, i have heard that most companies will only insure you up to 28 weeks.

Has anyone got experience of this or know of a company happy to insure up to 32 weeks. The cost isn't an issue - i just want to make sure i'm covered if anything did happen.

Thanks in advance! image

I just got a quote from Insure and Go it might be worth giving them a call, I am not sure how many weeks they'll cover you for though as I'll be 17 weeks when I go on holiday

My insurance covers me but not for "normal conditions related to pregnancy" - so if I gave birth abroad/before my holiday but the baby was considered full term, I'd have to pay for treatment/any cancellation charges myself.
